it has completley stopped working, no lights, and is not accepting 240v to run it.

i have looked inside and both fuses are ok, can anyone tell me if this is worth getting someone to look at it or is it a throw away job

thanks in advance.

It won't hurt to get someone to look at it, perhaps Dereck Bester could give you some advice because he was selling them at one stage, may still do, and he may have come across this before.

Hi Laser

They are a Powersaver brand. Importers were Electro Parts and Durst.

I have 2 of these units , although they are both 15 amp versions, not 25.

May I suggest that you firstly try using a different 240 volt electrical lead; they are common garden variety 3 pin plug and it just may be a dud connection within the sealed cord.....worth a try maybe.....
