has any one used the new type solid state solenoids as a replacement to the old std ones in the control box, I'm sick of having to craw under the truck to clean or short them out & its always at the worst time & spot

I replaced mine with Terain taimer solenoid unit only uses three wires on the existing warn plug just cut the plug off that your control plugs into & wire it in it is excellent, and water proof, it has only two solenoids in it & i believe the new unit has only one soleniod, and around a $140 just get one
