I have great memories of Slim Dusty offering my very
young son
shelter during a storm up at the Gympie Muster , then givng him an autograph and walking with him back to our OB van, where I was working, when the rain eased.
So long Slim - thanks for everthing.

Remember that old Fairlane he used to drive everywhere for years. No flash vehicles. Says something about the old fella. Can't say he never had a full life. RIP Slim.

Yes sad to hear of his passing. Saw the old Fairlane a couple of times as he passed thru where I was at the time.
