Have been using a Hitachi 3/4 drive rattle gun all weekend and have been absolutley amazed at its performance!, It was a hired unit so there was no info on it in regard to torque and motor specs , But i have done this job before with the air operated gun and thinkiing the electric one has the edge. This comparison is after undoing 300 50mm x 5/8 hi tensile bolts, and then refitting and spinning them back up again.

Cheers Axle.

Nah Mate,

Flop onto a milk crate, icy cold beer, radio and a decent socket set.

Cheers.....Lionel.

One of our local tyre shops (the only family owned & run tyre business in our city) only uses electric rattle guns . He swears by them. Reckons the torque settings are more acurate than pneumatic guns.
