You will notice Josh Vic is now Josh Tas. We move into our house tomorrow after almost 3 years on the road so I thought I should update the profile to suit. We will be living in Glenorchy (Hobart). I can see the water from the house so some fishing will be in order. It is a strange feeling after so long. Julia is really struggling with the idea of not being in our trailer any more. Have had a few tears the last few days. The girls asked if we could sleep in the house 1 night then the trailer the next and so on, Maree said no, she's sleeping in the house lol. We now get to set up the house again. Maree is looking forward to having an oven again. Over the next while we will explore Tassie and see what is over here. We will be selling the car before long most likely which the girls are also struggling with but we have to do what we have to do. Hopefully I will have time now to finish our web site properly and get our photos sorted, all 10,000 odd of them. Tassie has put its best weather on for us for our last week in the trailer, the ground was so soft from all the rain. We started our trip in Tassie on the 2nd of Jan 2007 and we stayed in the Latrobe Mersey River caravan park our first night here and we spent our last week in our trailer there, very fitting we thought. Thanks to everyone on this site who have helped us with advice and encouragement as we have travelled this amazing country. Now starts the plans for the next trip in a couple of years time.

Hi Josh,,,,WOW, Just had alook at your website, and how good is it! That will be a good reading matter for the next few days. We are just waiting for a sold sticker on our for sale sign out the front of the house, and we will be doing what you have just done. The new custom built van is in the drive way waiting to be loaded, and we are gone. Poor Pesty will be in a nursing home before we get to meet him, but people keep reassuring me the house will sell................yeah right! Anyway, I am off to keep reading your website.............

Feel free to look us up in Tassie if you make it over here. There are some great spots to camp over here. I am about half way through the trip with the photos and I reckon the best part is still to come (cape york).

Hi Sharon, Off again I see. Would you believe after being on the road for so long about 4 weeks ago Maree decides to repack the trailer and now I can't find anything lol. We were constantly changing stuff around. About 6 months ago we left the kids room behind at a caravan park cause we changed the way we packed up, you would think after so long on the road we would have it right. This last week has been so wet here but we just kept saying "we'll be in a house soon". I think we will all have itchy feet for the rest of our lives and hopefully not long before our next trip.

Hi guys how are you. There are some great spots along the coast heading down to perth. I love that part of the country. So have you got a barra up there yet. The car has a new lease on life since we emptied it out. I don't know about guys but man we had some crap in there. Going to a car yard tomorrow to look at cars for Maree and one for me for work, may trade the old girl in. I reckon we could fit your van in the back yard when you come over if you wanted to. Maree is loving having running hot water and now we get to go shopping for furniture.

HI Josh, Maree and girls

Just think if you had time to sort out those 10000 photos you got you may have snagged 1st prize instead of third in the EO happy snap comp. HAHAHA

Hope the change of address works out ok for the girls and yourselves. Time to buy a mower hey? Do you remember what one looks like? (HINT: Its one of those things on 4 wheels that bites into your fishing time....)

cheers Mick

Hi Mick, I thought a mower went Baaa Baaaa. lol. Yes it will be interesting for the next little while. Eat into fishing time, never, can always do them next week or until Maree gets around to it. I have found a couple of photos that would have been great for the comp. Will be funny next week not having to pack up and move.
