I love it, just about fell off my chair laughing when I saw it. Does anyone know where I can download a copy of it online, other than viewing it on YouTube that doesn't work from work computers?
Thanks in Advance
Snowy

thought they were a little rough on the Suzuki, but otherwise a brilliant ad!
There's two versions on youtube, one's a bit longer with more stuff in it. There are ways you can extract files from youtube.

Propaganda?? Don't you mean advertising? I think it's a funny fantastic ad built on Toyota's legendary reputation. No propaganda here..Oh what a feeling...

Mitza - bit like any advertising. Bit like Pajero ads and the Dakar references really.

Wish the bloody Prados were as tough as the rest of them. Never have i come across such a nicer car, but with so many inherent flaws i am amazed. Only after owning one now have i realised how bleep weak they are made. Definitely dont deserve the Landcruiser badge or even Toyota for that matter. I am talking off the 2003-2005 models, not sure if they upped there game on the newer models with the D4-D.

Not a bad Ad.
Had a bit of a laugh about it
I know what they are trying to advertise but imho they seem to be taking the bleep out of Toyota.
Not that Toyota don't need the bleep taking out of them ..Over advertised, Overrated and definitely Overpriced.
Disco.

Owned a 80 Series TD, traded it for a GU Patrol, great vehicle other than the 3.0L engine, got rid of it got a 100 series TD and haven't looked back. Nissan could certainly do with some good advertising spin, overpriced yeah I'll sort of agree with that one, but overrated? If you were to see how badly Landcruiser's get treated on just about every mine site in this country, and see how long other vehiclles don't last, they are definitely not overrated. Each to their own I suppose, but I like having a clean stain free driveway though.

"clean stain free driveway", I was just stirring the pot with a disco owner. The 80 Series was developing a problem with it's fuel system. Rather than fixing it I decided to trade, which I later regretted, but I do love my 100 series, slowly getting it set-up from standard, and it does have loads of grunt for a TD, although it also has more weight to carry it actually has more torque than my V8 ute.

I saw it quite a while ago. Thought it was dopey really. Didn't see a humorous side to it at all. That's just me I guess. I liked the "Bugger" ads much better. Given the issues that Toyota have had with the 200 series it's a bit cheeky to play on the alleged toughness of Tojos in the outback. Due for a change of vehicle soon and advertising like that won't help Toyota's cause with me at least. Sort of glad that I don't watch a hell of a lot of commercial TV.
Cheers
Russ
