I doubt it, while both are of the same basic design I'd imagine that there would be plenty of differences in the actual machining of the blocks especially for the fitment of other parts ie: holes not machined out, blank bosses etc.
The heads aren't interchangeable so wouldn't imagine the blocks would be either.

AFAIK, yes you can, the blocks are the same.From here up though, no totally differant.
