Can any body tell me if I need to do anything special to clean out jerry cans that have been used for unleaded petrol and I now wish to usefor diesel. They are the metal ones not plastic.

A quick rinse with a litre of Diesel will do the trick-- Diesel is not a very 'pure' fuel and the fuel filters on the engines will stop any of the nasties!

G'day, I just leave
mine open in the sun for a day if I need to put different fuels in them. This seems to evaporate everything out of them. Cheers, Alex
