Hi All,
Haven't been on here for some time but I'm sure someone will be able to help.
We have a Smart Bar on our Discovery 1A, with built-in indicators/
park lamps. These seems to be a generic lamp unit that is used on many brands or bar: rectangular about 150 x 40 mm with about 2/3 amber indicator and 1/3 white
park lamp.
Does anyone know where to buy replacement lenses for these, as both ours are now damaged. A Smart Bar rep has told me only the whole lamp assembly is available.
Thanks,
Ian

Or use the opportunity to change over to LED units.
They draw much less current (about 40 or 80 mA depending on unit) so if you inadvertently leave the parkers on you won't flatten the battery. They also last forever, so no blown globes.

Oh dear You better tell that to the supplier of those fitted to our new Mercedes buses
We had several with missing LED's in each taillight
Lasted less than 12 months.
In theory they SHOULD last a lot longer than globes.
Cheers

Have to agree with Graham - I have LED lights all over my camper and they are missing lights in each of them after less than 12 months. I too was sold on the LED lasting a long time. No so.

True but dont seem to in commrecial use and was probably too much trouble
to take stuff off to fix a small problem.
The buses would have done something like 250,000 at least in 2 years.
The worst one was on the road from 5am till 8 30pm every day almost non
stop and a lot of highway so lots of k's per day.
