Hi Kane
9 days will go quick!!!! We loved Dubbo Zoo (Jan 09), we free camped at Terramungamine (camps 5 no: 934 gps 32 10 03 S - 148 35 07 E) we actually free camped for 3 - 4 days here its lovely, beside the river, they have loo's but take your own loo paper!!!. You can
park your van/trailer at the zoo they have special
parking bay's just for the bigger rigs.
We also loved the
free camp at Tumbarrumba NSW no: 744 (gps 35 49 45 S - 148 03 39 E) Henry Angel Flat - really nice spot beside the river - nice loo's and HOT
water - pumped from the
creek - we stayed here for a week the kids loved it make sure you check out the
water fall at
Paddys River falls (No: 745 gps 35 51 32 S - 148 06 56 E) they are just spectacular!!!!
Cheers
Caz

Kane,
Plan for two days at Dubbo Zoo.
The pass in is for 2 days so you get to see the animals at different times of the day.
We have used our car on Day 1 to get a feel for the place and hired some of their bikes on day two.
Cheers
Trevor

Kane
We may
well see each other, heading off south this weekend, taking the kids to Dubbo zoo early next week then on to
Canberra and down to
Jindabyne. Look out for a white 80 series LC towing a green campertrailer Qld plates.
