Cold and wet maybe a bit of sun from time to time.

Still a great place to be.

Merv this site has all the details you would need on when and where to visit almost any place in Aus.

Use the Places or the Treks buttons up top and follow the instructions for all the answers.

Cheers and have fun

It's been raining in Tassie since July. Bound to stop soon. Apparently a lot of the lakes that have been nearly empty have filled pretty well and water storage in the hydro lakes is at good levels.
Road conditions in the area should be ok but keep in mind that it has rained non-stop for ages so the road crews haven't been out a real lot.
It can snow in the central highlands even in the middle of summer so be prepared for some cold stuff. It snowed on Mt Wellington a few christmas days ago.
