Hi Fabrizio,

A valid, current car driver's licence must be produced for everyone intending to drive a rental vehicle. State, overseas or international licences are acceptable. However, the licence must be in English.

Have a read of this link,

Australian Automobile Association

Hope this helps,
Dennis

Oops, meant to add that a car license should cover most camper vehicles.

I suggest a standard car licence would be adequate. Why don't you ask the hire company. I checked this LINK in which I found the comment '.. Even the novice is able to drive those vehicles' (Bushcampers). Perhaps the reason so many of them get into strife and are unable to even activate low range or free wheeling hubs/diff locks if/when fitted. Good luck with your travels.

Under 4.5 tonne is on a car licence which would include the Bushcamper.
