Bruce
Have you thought of looking at the Garmin series of GPS units. These are great units and easy to uses.

Cheers

Bruce,

If we know the intended use (and ball park budget), then the information can be better tailored to your needs.

andrew. I live in melb but virtually born in the Barmah Forest, borders the murray river.Have found it very usefull in this area when you get lost. Best use it has ever been put to was travelling the Marsh at Derby NT We were there for 3 weeks and without the GPS wouldnt have survived ,found some absolutely fantistic rivers etc that you could only spot from a plane.as you only see a shimmer for a background, ie nothing visable.Backtracking is the most used part of our gps , once again up an over the sand dunes an then at least you can find your way back even if the sun is behind a cloud..Also usefull for looking for a straight stretch of road up front to let a road train past. look forward to your reply.
PS went to Annaconda in melb today to look at Garmin map 60 cxs. they didnt have one on display.

Hi
Take a look at this model. Small but extremely simple to operate. When you arraive at your laoction and want to say for instance to go geocaching you press the home button. Then use the GPS as normal. Once you are at the cach press the home key and it will guide you back.
