Geofff
I am new to caravanning.
Have just purchased a secon-hand Boroma Tourista Grand. It has three
water tanks and an electric pump starts up whenever you turn a tap on.
If I want to stay in a Van
park for a couple of weeks, is it possible to hook up the van to the town
water supply so I don't have to keep filling the tanks?

Geofff,
don't know what State you are in but check this link:
Boroma Repairs
This
young bloke used to work for Boroma and has now set himself up as a Service Centre for Boromas.
Worth an enquiry I'm sure.

Have a good look around under the edges of the van (particularly the offside), and around the draw-bar as it is likely that the 'van is already set up for town
water.
There may be a 'tap' on or near the draw-bar, but if it looks like a normal garden tap then that is most likely an 'outlet', not an 'inlet'. You need to look for a threaded fitting fitted to a ball valve and pipework. There may still be a clip-on garden-style hose fitting on the threaded inlet, if you have one.
On some 'vans, the inlet may be behind a lockable cap on the offside of the 'van.
good luck

Also there should be a switch inside the van where you switch the 12v pump on & off.
In most vans it is adjacent to the switches for the HWS.

I would get hold of whoever sold it to you and ask for a tour of how it all works
Very poor of someone not to show you how things work especially as it seems you are not au fait with vans.
Did they tell you anything, like how to hook it up and set the brakes in the car.
Even more important what does it weigh ATM on the palte and what are you towing it with.
A lot of those Boromas are heavy and are Cruiser towing material
Advice on here is usually good
There is a Boroma Owners
forum you could join.
