Hi All,
Easy one, where would I buy a tilt meter?
You know, the old Pajero's had them, measures the incline in degrees on both X and Y axis.
Google doesn't seen to offer any after market suggestions.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Do you really need one ? I never have time to look at
mine when I am in a 'tilting' situation. In a motor vehicle, when the blue side is looking to swap
places with the dark side you tend to keep your eyes outside of the cockpit :-))
If you really need a tilt meter then check the wreckers or the Pajero web site. Some people remove them to make room for a boost or engine exhaust temp gauge - much more useful !

Maybe a matter of "want" not "need".

It's actually for a mates's tractor but thought this
forum will have some good thoughts on the subject.
Thanks for the ebay link, can't go wrong for $22 (if it works - but guess it's easy to test).

If you have an iPhone, check out the iTunes App Store, there are several there - cheap as chips, very effective and you can put the phone in a windscreen mounted cradle. The one that I have is a Tiltmeter Pro. Use it for levelling the rear of the Bruiser when doing cooking duty (airsprings).
(However a glass of beer is just as good, and upon completion much more satisfying...)

yeah I know - I have avoided the temptation of buying that one. Nothing like the real thing...
They haven't got an app yet to replace the wife, but are working on it ;)

(might be a little more than a $1.19 I reckon - and see above comments re: beer)

Used to own one. Only accurate while stationary, and swings around when moving. Not always convenient to stop and check lateral inclination before proceeding!! Like others have said, if conditions are such that you might be in trouble, you're far too busy to be able to read a dancing inclinometer card.
