what are you towing it with

Yes there are a lot to chose from, but we need a bit more info from you to help.

thanx, the last time i did a trip was by myself in a ute now i have the wife. i was looking at kimbereley, adventure offroad, aussie swag, pioneer and cape york. These are the frontrunners price range up to 35k. at least it's a start point. any suggestions because they all seem quite capable.

Pioneer are very good value, but ask for lighter duty 1100kg coil springs as they are oversprung with 1500kg springs.

You would be well advised to got to a Caravan & Camping Show & narrow it down to a few makes & models that appeal to you, then ask for advice.
At the moment you will get many & varied answers with everybody saying that the brand that they own is the best.

Also it would help to know your location & how much you want to spend.

At a budget of 35K, one option would be to go the little extra and get a Tvan. It will take you anywhere you want to go, is tough and reliable and at the same time a comfortable unit.

Click here for their web site

There is a Caravan & Camping Show down at Batemans Bay this coming weekend. Has a good range of Off Road Campers on display.

The current issue of the CamperTrailer Australia mag has a run-down on the top CTs in various categories.

Ideally you should narrow your choice down to 2 or 3 in a particular category and then go and crawl over them and pref hire them for a few days. Seeing is differerent from living with.

Camper Trailer Australia magazine couldn't do a review on a camper if they tried.
All their so called reviews are little more than advertorials.

Yes, they need the advertising revenue otherwise they'd be asking several times the cover price for the mag.

The best picks strategy is one way they can address the dilemma that being critical about the product of one your advertisers can lose you money.
