Yeah,
ABC radio in WA had a guy from the Ag Dept on air today advising drivers to ensure the windscreen washer was full and to carry extra water. He also suggested fitting mesh screens (shadecloth or flywire) to help stop the locusts blocking radiators.

From previous personal experience, you may need to check aircleaners fairly frequently too (daily even) if driving through swarms regularly.

Disco.

Theres other pests as well

Hit a swarm of bees the other day in SA and had enough honey on the screen for the b/fast toast LOL.

Lots of Cane Toads here at the moment as well

Going by the number plates anyway.

Working in York yesterday, left a pot of paint on the back of the ute for 10 minutes. When I got back to it had to fish out a hand full of 'white locusts'.

Must have missed one, theres a little lump on the ceiling now....lol.

Cheers......Lionel.
