I was wondering if anyone knows about Gazal? Have read that they have gone belly-up? Is this true? Are parts still available?
What is the best brand (I know it depends on price) but want to spend up to $25K ?
Any suggestions please?

Hi Jazzy.
I've been looking around for a while now and will buy soon. $25000 will get you a fairly new 14' in good nick.
I've been impressed by Coromal, Island Star, Avan and Roadstar etc.
It's a bit of a Ford/Holden argument but some vans are fitted out far better than others.
I've looked in SA & Vic
If you live in Vic, there are hundreds for sale in the Trading Post.
Good luck.
Bob

Gazal were generally a reasonably good van except for the some of the pretty early ones. Gazal went our of business quite some years ago but parts aren't a problem as they all come from two major industry suppliers to the trade.
The previous post names a few vans,. I would rate the Gazal better than the Coromal, probably almost equal to the A-Van, but not in the same class as an Island Star or Roadstar. For $25K you'll certainly get a good choice of used 14' quality vans less than 6 years old. Look at websites like RV Point etc.
