If anyone is interested, "Catch of the Day" has solar powered light/bugzappers with battery backup, for less than $10 each plus a maximum $10 delivery.
May be handy for
camping if they were strong enough and don't shake to death in transit.
They seem to be selling relatively fast.
I haven't seen one, or checked specification, but may be worth looking at.
Not affiliated etc etc.

I have one of them at home and I can tell you no mozzies hang around the light is not strong enough in my opinion...it does make the garden look pretty with some purple in it

I've got a UV 12v bug zapper, and the only thing it seems to attract are moths, not mozzies. And the power behind the high voltage
grid is so poor that the moths die only by getting their wings tangled in the wires, rather than being zapped!
Haven't used it in years.
