My central locking on my GQ locks all the doors at irregular times (mainly when i get out and close the drivers door).
Luckily for now the only door that doesn't do it is the drivers door so at this stage I can't lock the keys in the car; Yet!.
how do I disable the central locking? Can't see any fuse for it.
ta,

I had this happen with a Rover a few years ago, it was only a wire off inside the door which shorted out when the door was closed.

yep worth a look. Alot of rough km's and dusty roads so could be a spray and a wiggle of wires might fix it.

I had a similar issue with my car and the cause was the actuator that was part of the alarm system was faulty. It would open/close by it self and I hear id one night when all was quiet. I disconnected the power to the alarm locking actuator and it stopped. I then just got a new actuator $40

there is one 'master' one (as all doors except one do it), or I nee to replace each one of the faulty doors?
As they do it all at the same time I assume it's 'master' box sending the wrong signal?

G'day, Gossy,
I have just replaced my main battery, and my central locking is working fine now.
Before it would only lock the drivers door, and all other doors would have to be locked manually, not sure how to disable the central locking.
Hope this helps,
Troy

Find the switches and hit them with some WD40. Probably just dust in them. Typical GQ problem.
Email me
here and I will tell you of a safe place to store your spare key...just in case

Yep the poor old girl has seen some dust so a good spray might be all it needs.
