OK, so after our Melbourne trip... Cringe....I had a look last night in the trading post online and spotted a new ad which looked good, rang them last night and picked it up today.

Yaaay. We have a camper.

It is a Cavalier, 2004, immaculate, they say its used, but you wouldn't know, seriously, it looks showroom condition!

14', full annex, few bits and pieces with it. $6000. I wasn't leaving that there, so we bolted down and got it today before anyone else did!!

I may be in love. It's very nice. Just shows that when a door closes, another one opens. :)

Hi Lia, Glad to hear you found a trailer you are happy with. Now comes the fun part, working out where everything goes and then working out what to leave behind when it all doesn't fit LOL. Hope it's all smooth sailing from here. Happy packing.

That's great news considering your earlier disappointment. Great camper at a great price. Congrats.

You certainly got that for an excellent price! We had a look at them as we are going to replace ours! Not sure which way we will go as yet.

We are about to put our Southern Cross camper on the market from this weekend.

Lia,
Congrats!! You have a great family trailer there!!
We have a Cavalier in our garage at the moment, with the 14' tent etc... we have had it for nearly 5 years and have been to many many wonderful places with it. It has NEVER let us down, it is as strong as an ox! We have had several holidays where we are setting it up every night in a different spot and it's amazing how fast we got at it, and never got sick of doing it either.

But our kids are getting older and only one camps with us now, and he might not camp with us forever, so we have upgraded to a new Tvan for our future travels, so the Cavalier will soon be up for sale. I said to Gayleen the other day when we were inside the Cavalier getting our gear out of it that I felt a little sad about selling it, we have had wonderful times with that trailer but the time has come to move on.

Once again, congratulations on your purchase, and happy camping!!

Cheers

Brian

Thanks all. We are very happy. Can't wait to take it out!!

We were also looking at a van with the popout beds, but after standing in the trailer tent, then standing in the little van...(which is all that is in our budget)... it felt too small for two kids and maybe three by the time we go.

So camper trailer it is! Woot woot!

Their head office is on Marion Road so you will be able to get parts recently.
