Further to my post last week, there are now lots of new pics and Youtube video of the new Patrol being tested (they look production ready) in the UAE

2010 Patrol video

Looks a bit better in these shots - they refer to it as a 5.6 VVEL ?

Cheers

There is a real YouTube video on the Patrol Forum.

re the VVEL I found this on a website full of squiggly lines. Google translated it for me and this is what it said ......

To my knowledge, the Patrol replaces the existing Patrol AND the Armada, so in some markets, Nissan will offer the 5.6L V8. I believe some markets will offer a 4.8L V8 and others will include a 4.0 V6 and a 3.0 V6 diesel. As the Patrol replaces the Armada, the next Infinity QX56 will be based of it. And to correct some old information, the next generation Nissan Titan will not be shared with the Ram 1500. This was going to be the case prior to Fiat's takeover of Chrysler. But there will still be a Titan.
