Landcruiser tray/troopy towbars

I just got home from 3months caravaning
To discover a slight problem the square tube section on the towbar was nearly out of its bracket it was only held on with two welds along the bottom of the square tube this tow bar was put on from new .
It was not welded along the top ,after some info the bar was manufactured that way,my bar is 5 years old.
Anybody out there with a troopy or tray it might pay to have a look at your bar to see if it is welded on top of tube.
