Older Honda Generator EX650 - What can't they be used on?

Hi All

I've got an older 4 stroke Honda EX650 generator and am wondering what equipment it can't be used on?

So far I have just used it for lighting and power tools.

I understand that the newer type of generators (Inverter or sine wave?) can be used on Laptops, TVs, Microwaves, Engels and pretty much all electronics; but am not sure what the older type could be used on without eventually wrecking the equipment?
