This article covers every aspect of solar and its design and installation in RVs (camper trailers, caravans and motor homes). It shows how much power solar panels really produce,

G'day there and thanks in advance for your time and comments
Can any one recomend a "good book" about solar power. I'm interested to read up on it a bit, not complete a degree through a book.

Collyn's is more specific to camping but for general solar power you'd be hard put in Australia to go past the Rainbow Power Company, don't be put off by the hippy name, the name is just a relic from a long time ago. Their book is in a lot of libraries and you'd be able to order it in if not:

I bought the Rivers book - Solar That Really Works (aimed at the RV sector) - top value I thought - rang Collyn in Broome and ordered it direct (08 9192 5961 / e: collyn@caravanandmotorhomebooks.com) - about $50. I was ordering a new van with solar and wanted to satisfy myself re the specs.
