I am looking for camping info around Willow Waters east of Hawker, I will be checking out a few tracks around the area of Mt Craig. So looking for a camp spot I was told there is a permanent water hole around Willow Waters some where, to set up camp.

Not personally familiar with Willow Waters but it may be associated with Willow Plains - A Post Office opened in July 1881 on Section 71A. Hundred of Arkaba 19km north east of Hawker. The school was opened in 1883 by Maude R Webb. It closed in 1937.

From memory - two years ago - Willow Waters had a small dammed stream with historic stone retention wall - I think Its on private property so you may need permission from the owner to camp ..

suggest you visit the Worumba Station website. You can easily get to the summit of Mt Plantaganent & Mt Craig from Worumba. Worumba has heaps of good spots to camp

Cheers
