Hi All
I have spent a lot of my recent winters touring Country Australia, and love it.
The people, the land forms, the changing vegetation, the dust, the wildlife, birds and reptiles, the livestock, perhaps not the flys, even the gibber roads.
Just get back home and it is not long before the maps are out and the next trip is being planned.
What has happened now !.
We have an Australian born granddaughter, arrived this morning in as Country as it gets in
Canberra.
Mother and daughter are fine, father and her 3yr old brother are ecstatic.
This Grandfather will recover in a while, probably about next winter.
To go from
Brisbane, (my Oz base), through to the next ExplorOz gathering and then onto
Canberra does not look that far if you use a postage stamp size map.
Went down to see them after the
St George gathering and that that took only a few days.
Might even convince my wife that she should come along to next winter.
4 Rugby players
2 Netballers
now in the team.

When it comes to production I had nothing to do with it
You guys have the second best five eight in the world, enjoyed watching him and the team do the Welsh, class players don't have two bad games in a row.
I think the brother would probably end up in the front row, his build at this age is more like this Grandfather.
Her Mother is still the most capped netball player for NZ.
Liz Ellis, Vicki
Wilson era.
So the chances of this granddaughter playing for Aus are slim indeed.
But then their father plays soccer but we won't hold that against him.
LOL heaps

Hi Russ, congratulations!!
Good to hear mother and daughter are fine, (as
well as father and brother).
Sounds like you will have a full team of either rugby players or netballers soon.
And talking of red dust, it's blowing again here on the east coast.....
Have a good one, Dave & Hazel

There is always a
bright side.
One thing about the dust is you won't have to mow the lawn.
Welcome to the land of no mowing.
Have a good one

The girl in the photo is also a netballer, although I have called her other names at certain times of the month
