G'day everyone.
I am travelling about the country at Christmas and later and would appreciate some info on a few roads in Victoria. I am travelling by motorcycle this time (leaving the troopy at home for a change).
My map shows a road that runs around the south of
Lake Eildon, ending up at
Mansfield. Is this sealed?
Also, there is a road that runs from
Mansfield to Whitfield via Bridge
Creek and Toombullup - is this sealed?

The road from eildon to
mansfield is sealed once you get back down towards Jamieson. The road that goes up over the mountain is dirt but has some great
views of the lake.as for the road to whitfield , the road to bridge
creek is sealed and I will endevour to find out from a mate about the rest

South of Eildon is gravel.
Only been as far as Tolmie (sealed) so don't know about the Whitfield one.
Others will advise in due course.

Powers Lookout few k's north of Toombullup
well worth a look.
Majority of roads in Vic are bitumen. Not to much gravel
