Truly so, can't believe I won't see him on the bus or pinching fruit from the west end fruit & veg market.

RIP.
Us
young blokes in the 70s used to be amused by him, when we drove hot minis and toranas.
In essence, we knew he just had more style.

Us
young blokes in the late 50's and early 60's were also amused by him. So ends another chapter in our lives.

Hi All
Just seen the story on the ch10 news, he had a good innings at 82, saw the Cream FX under the house, and some of the memorabillia, photos ect, I wouldn't mind a dollar for all the laps he did around
Brisbane CBD and up Queen Street, go George RIP.
Cheers

OK so George has gone.. Whats happened to the car, it's value will rise a little I guess,
Would be nice to see it fully restored and put in a museum,

Agree, part of
Brisbane's history, the ol 48 205? FX would look great restored and having a place in the Qld museum.
Cheers

RIP George.
Many times I used to see him when I worked night shifts in Brissy City, many years since I have seen the cream FJ on the road though.
