Looking for list of free or cheap
camping spots in NSW, we are heading to Victoria for a few days and will be looking at stopping around Albury for the night before heading into Victoria.
Does anyone have a list or web address or even know of a good place to pull up for one night Near or before Albury NSW.

Gooday jon1,
suggest you get hold of "Camps Australia Wide 5" from the EO
shop, or
camping stores such as BCF. That way you will have it for future use and planning as
well.

About 30km NE of Albury on the old Hume Hwy at Bowna is a
rest Area that is now way off the the hwy due to a new alignment of the hwy.
It is a large bitumen
rest area with
toilets and far enough off the hwy to reduce road noise. Great place to overnight just outside of Albury and it's free.

if you dont make it to the gazzetted road-stops, pull over anywhere safe like road-plants, service centres etc .. it;s not worth the risk driving tired
