Thanks! I'm Brett Kinross, OzCamps designer. Just joined as a member here for the first time, though have occasionally browsed in the past.

Download OzCamps to your GPS
This is the link with a description of how to do it. Though I am currently between GPSs so haven't done it myself!

I am glad that people find it a great resource. It is now just over one year old and I am quite happy with how it is travelling. Would love to see it get to 1,000 sites over the next few years.

Just recently made some large changes, including the ability to filter the sites. Will probably add more categories at a later date (i.e. 4wd, water, toilets etc).

Anyway I have more time now to check out this forum as I am no longer an Admin at my previous forum. Notice a number of familiar names though.

Cheers
Brett

I have a Garmin with Aust maps on a SD Micro. Do I just copy the *gpx file onto the chip or will it need to go into a special folder? Perhaps Points of Interest?
No guides on your site for this particular question. Great idea though.
Thanks

I don't have a GPS myself since mine got stolen but for a Garmin GPS I think I would use the Garmin POI Loader software.

Very hard to have a "how to" guide for each of the GPS systems. Generally a simple Google Search will give you the answer though. I think Garmin can use the .gpx file natively without having to convert to another format.

Cheers
Brett

P.S. And thanks Gone Bush.
