Extra Child seat anchor point for Patrol

They haven't got a middle point as the seat is split fold and the belt could be pulled down between the seats under force.

Option 1 - You can get them put in the roof just inside the back door, left, right and central positions. I have recently put one on the passenger side roof as my storage drawers cover up the original points. Cost $95, installed and engineered.

Option 2 - You can get a CRA bar installed behind the middle row seats. It is basically a bar that bolts across the car and has 3 anchor points attached to it. I was quoted $350, installed and engineered.

This was in SA, I assume a child anchor point would be installed in a similar fashion for a similar cost in QLD.

a company called Vanquip (from memory) do that sort of work in WA, maybe they are over there also?

I originally phoned RACQ as I didn't know where to start looking and they gave me there number. They sorted out the modification plate etc so we didn't have to do anything with Dept Transport. They are both mounted above the barn doors at the back so we can still out our fridge etc in the back.
