Hello all of you all.
I was very impressed with some of the information exchange going on here and thought some one may be able to help me.......
I have a normally aspirated 1hz in a 1999, 100 series landcruiser. I recently acquired a body damaged 2003 100 series(normally aspirated 1hz also) and would love to put the whole diff assembly fount and back , and of cause swap the engine and gear box.
Question, I noticed a lot of other "stuff" on the 03 motor. Will I have to get a auto sparky to do his thing or will it all just "fit"????
MUCH APPRECIATED IF ANY INFO REGARDING THIS ENGINE SWAP. OH, ant known technicalities regarding the diff housing swap also????
Thank's :)

I think any extra wiring would be to the fuel pump, the engine remained a simple affair.
I'm fairly sure you could use the old pump if there are any differences

Yep cool, thats all i could see also. If all the bolts/mechanical fits I could always get a auto sparky to sought the injector pump wires out..........
Well, I will do a little more home work regarding this matter. Its my first night on it;) Just wouldn't mind doing it over the Christmas break.
PS. Nice tray mate;)

A quick look at both engines willl probably reveal the both pumps are mechanical.
