Water storage 120 could only access 90 of this. Have just returned from a trip and can only access 68 now! After sales service non existant from Pioneer. Quality of all workmanship questionable. Any other Pioneer owners out there in a similar position? We have an Argyle SE.

Do you remember saying this??
"After the relatively easy fix we now have 119 litres usable, so again I am left wondering why, if Pioneer are as comitted to customer service as they lead us to believe, that they could not do the same."
and then this .....
"Hi All, We have just returned from our first trip in the camper and all the swearing fuss and bother getting the
water tanks sorted out was
well worth it. We can access ALL the
water in the tanks! (all but a dribble or 2 anyway). Now getting ready for some serious
camping!!! "
Maybe your own repair/fix has stuffed up, very unfair to still blame Pioneer!

Leevon,
I also own a Pioneer Argyle SE which I have had for 3 years(in Jan) and it has done over 40000kms on some very off road tracks including
Cape York and I would have to say you must have got a different camper to
mine as the only fault I had to date was the plastic kitchen tap which I have replaced.I found the Pioneer staff at Wangara WA very helpfull and your problem with the
water tank/tanks? might be that you are not filling the tanks in the first place--just a suggestion!I hope you sort things out as you own a very
well made unit.

I also dispute his complaint in another thread here that the canvas is thin, if anything
mine is way too heavy & I would actually prefer lighter weight canvas.
I have also found the staff at Pioneer to be extremely helpful.

Rambler, your camper is 3 years old and from what we can gather after to speaking to many people with campers.......is the earlier ones were in fact better made! So you are lucky and we wish you many more happy kms in the great outdoors!

Nothing wrong with our fix to the
water problem!! another problem has arisen out of poor original setup of
water flow system!! We thinks shaker you must be related to Pioneer in some way as you seem to be the onlt one singing their praises! Remember your Argyle is 3 years old and of a different time as to what is produced now. Goodluck with your travels in your camper. We however are going to push on with this problem until it is sorted out. As for the canvas
well where do we start there!! You can see daylight on almost every seam line, the fraying on all corners.........remember ours is new so we wonder what your opinion would be if you were having the same probs as we and many others are!

I am very happy to criticise Pioneer, particularly the fact that they, like most camper trailers are much too heavily sprung.
I have just pulled out the 1500g rated coil springs & replaced them with 1000kg springs.
I also agree that the kitchen tap is a little average, but that is a pretty minor problem.
As far as the canvas is concerned, don't they use Australian made Wax Converters Dynaproof DX12 canvas for all their trailers?
It is also not uncommon to be able to see light through the needle holes in newly sewn canvas.

The camper is
well and truly
well seasoned so there should not be any light showing through the seams. We have had it looked at by a canvas expert and he advised that oversized and blunt needles were used, therefore not allowing the cotton to swell and fill the holes as they shoulod once seasoned.

We have a 12 month old Pioneer Onyx which has a few small/minor problems and I have written to the Director in regards to them along with some suggestions and ideas to make their trailers first class.
The company make and assemble the trailers, the canvas is stitched together in
Adelaide.
We have not had any worries with the Pioneer Campers.
Cheers P&J
