Removing Element from Electroux RM210

Hi
Been trying to remove the element from this fridge as the 12v element has developed a short. How are these things actually secured into the chimney? Any tips I will post a photos later if that helps?

from memory they are only held with a screw.
my element was rusted in and and broke in half i then had to drill a hole thru the van floor and push the rest out with steel rod.
not sure if yours is the same. cheers
