HI just have a question regarding tacho & speedo stopping in the last week first the tacho stopped then after about 30 minutes started working a few days latter the speedo stopped then after a short period started working again any ideas as to the problem

Sounds like a Windows Vista problem to me. Try rebooting. ie Kick the leading edge of the left hand wheel.
All jokes aside. Sorry I cannot help but have you tried using Google or cantacting Toyota to see if it is a previously existing fault and there is a fix under a recall. I dunno but thats what I would try.

does your dash rattle some times ? it may be the connectors at the rear of the dash need tightening.
