There used to be a button on the bottom of Trek (and other) pages to set up and format for printing ?? Doesn't seem to be there now. I am aware of the 'print' button at the top of the page- but the output is as on screen (very messy)..
Is there an option for a 'tidier' output ??

Not sure which software that you are using however in Internet Explorer 8 if you go File, page Setup and change paper size to A4, if that's what you are using, close that then go File Print Preview and you can see what the printed job will look lioke before actually printing it. Good luck.

As per what DIO said, but you can also select what you want on the screen, right click, print preview, then select "as laid out on screen" OR "as selected".
That will print just the bit you want.

The button in the user bar with the printer icon is the same as used to be in the footer - in fact it is even better than it used to be as all ads are removed the columns are resized and it should print perfectly. It will pop up a window (which is the reformatted trek note).

PS: This is NOT the browsers print button - the browser button will NOT reformat the data for the print.

Thanks for your reply..
I have done as suggested by you..however the printout 'cuts' off the Right side of the page.
I do have my printer set at A4 portrait.
The Trek I'm attempting to print is Canning Stock Route.
Thanks

What version of the browser are you using - before you print go into Print Setup and ensure you have the Shrink to Fit setting turned on and then try again. I also find that all sites print better if you adjust the margins to a much smaller value - the default is nearly 2.5cms each side of the page (this is a waste) I set mine up to 10mm all around - plus with shrink to fit you should find it perfect.
Let me know how you get on?
