We are planning a family trip up to
Cape York. I saw a video about a trip around the track and it seems quite appropriate. They had a little trouble with this particular crossing and I haven't seen anything about it since. There will be four cars with two passengers in each. Some with
winches and lockers. Not novices but not after too extreeme a trip. One is an ex army recce mech.
Does anyone know what its like these days and any guess of how it would be in June to October?
Any 'easier' (some call them chicken) tracks around it?
Have a top day.

That crossing can be a bit tricky, with a soft bottom and logs put in there by others to help get through. Not one I would walk though.
Send the ex pongo on the recce.
No other tracks around a couple of years ago.
