Dave
It appears to that thethe 1:250K Raster is the only one that has an electronic map covering Tassie??
Looks like as you know Hema don't have one, bit strange I would have thought.

Good info Greg.
Agreed they are dear, I guess it comes down to the small volumes being sold?

Hi
Not sure how they justify the price. If it’s due to low sales volumes their caught in a “catch 22”. Lucky some people who produce and sell digital maps are more philanthropic :)
Cheers

Mate, there's a program available called gMapMaker that can build maps from Google. I'm currently doing up a full set for Tassie for my trip over Xmas. This way you get the latest available data as the "official" maps are based on data that can be quite a few years old.

Hi,
I have just bought the Memory Map DVD of Tasmania for about $250 I think, it has the full set of 1:250,000, 1:100,000, 1:25,000 and the town maps as
well.
I suspect the value of the included maps must be over $1500, and it does most of what OziExplorer does, some of it differently, some of it better.
I'm impressed with it so far.
cheers
