Morning all,
Can anyone advise if a camper trailer (Ultimate) is suitable to be taken into
the Cascades camp ground. I rang national Parks this morning and they were a little unsure as to the availability of sites. They said that there were bollards at the sites which meant having to carry
camping gear in. Obviously this is not suitable. Also how busy does this area get. We only want a 1 night stayover on our way across to
Narooma.
Regards,
Glenn

Hi Glen,
we camped down there in april this year and there was plenty of room, there were bollards from memory but that was not a problem then?
we towed our goldstream off road camper in with out any problems at all the road in was very good dirt road. We came across from eurobodalla and there is plenty of
camping in the bush around that area if
the cascades is packed.
Of course this was in April and nothing movers faster that a NPWS
ranger trying to make
camping difficult

You'll get an Ultimate into
cascades easy, the place is accessible by 2wd, we had a few doof doofers the weekend we went there a couple of years back, but overall a great spot to
camp and swim. Take the rod and a few lures too, there are trout at the base of the falls in the top pool . not big, just a bit of fun for catch and release.
cheers unc

Hi glen
Was wondering how you went at Cascade
camping area, as we were thinking of heading that way next week. Is it very busy and did you have any trouble getting the camper trailer to where you wanted. We also have camper trailer.
Cheers
Karen
