Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you have stopped at Middini Beach just south of Madura WA on the Nullabor? It looks like an attractive spot to
camp a night or two however can't find any info about it on the internet. Would love to hear your tales if you've been there.
Cheers,
Rohan.

Along the Bight in that area you can't get down to a beach - the coast is all vertical cliffs, mostly with serious warning signs about falling rocks etc. You may be thinking of
Moodini Bluff which is on the plain on the north side of the highway before
Madura Pass.
Site 10 in Camps 5. We camped there in April 2009 and found it to be a
good campsite with plenty of space and shade
well off the road with a clean pit
toilet in the
rest area. The term
bluff refers to the rounded "headlands" of the scarp of which we had a lovely view. Definitely not a beach though. Lynne and John

My interpretation of Natmap Raster 250k Maps showing Middini Beach is that there are no verical cliffs at that point...rather just a contoured drop-off onto
sand dunes. There is a track running all the way to
the beach adjacent to the
Moodini Pass turnoff on Eyre Hwy
Moodini Bluff as you mention, lies slightly north of the Eyre Hwy.
