SWMBO has finally relented and allowed me to have (Christmas present) my new acer aspire 10" baby laptop that I bought a couple of weeks ago.... It's near enough to Christmas isn't it? Have been loading up OziExplorer and all my other software/maps, tracks etc. Been at it for about 3hrs now. Load and re-boot, load and re-boot, download off the web, re-boot... You know how it is. So later today it will be all set to go... Will take it on it's 1st 4WD trip over the new year.

Once again, Merry Christmas and a blessed 2010 to all EOérs and Staff.

Way to go, Fred!

Mrs Bushwhacker also let me set up my new Garmin 60CSx, so I can get a bit of an idea of how it works, and record our first trek starting Boxing Day.

I'm afriad that I have not been able to persuade my better half to relent and let me have Chissy Presents. SWMBO has decided that The Tvan, a new laptop, four new tirerd, a new AGM for the Tvan. and Ten Day @ St George is enough for this year. But wait until I get away to the VHC. Well.
