been pretty wet down that way for the last day or so, see the post on Tom Groggin earlier today.
If it is wet there then it will probably have come across the mountains so might be pretty slippery.

yes - noticed that - the long range forecast doesnt look too bad though - thats why I am planning on taking 4-5 days to do trip rather than have to rush and not wait for the weather to improve.

This trip is really just a chance for me to get out into the bush and relax - no real time commitment - so if weather doesnt improve I will/can just modify the trip

Hey If I end up making camp at sheepyard flat for 3 days it is still better than being at work :-)))))))

Thanks for the 'heads up' though

Hey Bonz

Yep - I must admit it is good to be able to 'show' those who cannot be with me where I am at any point in the trip

SPOT on you might say :-))))

Amy

Thanks for the well wishes

I am back at Wagga now - cut the trip short a little bit (got to Dargo Hotel) and will save the 2nd half ( Blue Rag) for another time.

I was 1/2 way into the trip when I was contacted by my 'usual' travel mates (Peter and Graeme) and they both said that they wanted to do the trip. So I cut it short so we can do it togther early 2010.

Now thats what real mates do for each other :-))))))

A quick note to those SPOT users who also have a page on jasons trip page

Dont forget to post the 'spot shared page' data when you set up your "My devices" page.

I forgot to do it and thats why the Jasons page link I put in my original post shows a map of America instead of Australia :-((((((

I e-mailed jason and sent him the CSV file from SPOT page and he has put the data into the trip log so you can now see it in there

Well done Jason - much appreciate the asist

if you want to see it now go to:
