Hi All,

Can any one direct me to pics of the recent rains on the ROCK. I missed them on the news but believe them to be spectacular.

Thanks for the replies.
Peter memorable photos, the VW was certainly in deep ....... (mud) and obviously not going any where.....

I,m still looking for the pre Xmas images.

I guess that rain came from Cyclone Tracy couple days before. Like the VW, how long were you stuck for.

Under an hour Sharon.
We knew it was going to be wet and took a set of snow chains with us. Fitted them and drove out.
Took a full 7 days to drive from Alice to Adelaide. Those chains were worn out when we got home.

And NO, it was not related to Tracy, it was early in '74. Tracy was Christmas....
Lake Eyre was already full too.
