G'day, can any one recommend a place in
Coober Pedy to store a car and trailer for 3 weeks. Need it in Aug/Sept next year, 2010. Thanks in advance. John

Unless I had it
well hidden I dont think I would like to leave one there for any length of time.
Just the feeling I had about the place.

Hi John, The
Stuart Range caravan park is good, the people are very helpful. I think they have a storage area. It's the caravan
Park with the camel outfront. We think it's the best
Park in town. In August - Sept the town is known to have severe storms and the wind is capable of destroying tents. Make sure that your Rig is
well protected and prepared for strong wind. The last three times we've stayed in Coober Pedey this has happened and the dust was so thick you couldn't see very far for a day until it settled. It's apparently normal for the town at that time of year. Bye, Sally.

Hi again john, Hubby has just come home from work and says that he doesn't think it's Lockup Storaeage that some Big 4 Parks have .It is a Big 4 caravan
Park.
Coober Pedy is not as bad as it used to be but they do have drunks in the main street. These people tend to stay in that area & the Stuart Range is out on the outskirts of town. The rubberneck
shop may know of a secure lockup storage area. Regards Sally.

The Big 4 in
Coober Pedy is down near where you dont want to be in town.
Stuart Range, as said, is out of town a little.
There is also the underground Ribas Caravan and
camping ground
well out of town that has a lot of space but is quite open.

park it.

Yep, The Stuart Range is a "Family Parks '. Don't know why I've always thought it was a Big 4. We have stayed there for many of our travels, maybe it used to be yrs. ago. Take care. Safe travels. Bye, Sally.

Yep, The Stuart Range is a " Family Parks" My mistake as said in answer to Graham. Another thought is that the Police should know of any secure Lockup storage areai.Good Luck. Bye, Sally.
