It has to be asked, there is oil in it still?
Will it start and run or does the "lack of oil pressure" turn it off?
Unlikely the screen on the oil pickup would block as it is pretty big.
How long since the last oil and filter change? anything past 5k change interval on those engines you are on borrowed time especially on an old engine the oil turns to jelly in the sump. The only cure then is to drop the sump to get it out and then fill with new oil and filter.

plenty of oil it shuts down after a few seconds due to lack of pressure 7000km's since last change that is about my normal change time, had that jelly problem several years ago, flushed the motor a couple of times with hot oil and was ok.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if the "jelly problem" was back. Level will appear as ok on the dipstick but pump can't pick the jelly up out of the sump.
Running the oil for another 50% on top of the recomended change intervals is asking for trouble on those engines.
I personally know of two people that did exactly what you do for years with the oil changes. Worked well, saved them a 1/3rd on servicing costs for about 5 years until they ran a bearing(spun the shell in the journal) . No oil pressure and bang!
The money saved on extending the oil changes 50% didn't even come close to the cost of engine repairs/replacement.
OIL IS CHEAP!!!!

add another 5litres of oil too engine. the extra oil might help the pump pick up. but dont rev the engine. if this fixes it i would change the oil and filters asap.
