Hi Lapua.

Were getting air lockers fitted next month by AC 4WD in Midland.
The guy's name is ASH and we won't take our car anywhere else. If you go there you'll know what i mean. He has two 80 series and loves his 4wding as much as we do. If your interested let me know and will look out his number for you.

Hi Lapua

I have a Lokka fitted in a ute (front end ) and fitted by WA Diff Centre . It click's real bad when ever I turn left only. As it was a case of removing the whole diff again they suggested to me that it would wear in over Time($700-$800 fitting cost). My Brother has had one fitted by Perth 4x4 (Balcatta). And it appears to have been an excellent job. I have also had Ash at AC 4wd in Midland fit my Air lockers in my Cruiser ,he is a little dearer than ARB but does them a little differently. You can also buy them through him. (he really knows his stuff)and is a mechanic. If your car has done a few Km's then he can also do all the bearings and seals (ARB didn't have time to do these when I wanted it fitted (even with a 3 week wait time).

A front auto locker will always be on when you are in 4wd (no Choice) so you are always putting a bit of extra strain on your CV's etc .The air locker is only on when you decied you need it..

The auto lokka does do a great job thougth and you will be really impressed with the ability of the car to just crawl over everything, they work great in sand as well , but will sometimes lock up a bit when going down a steep rocky hill.

So Perth 4x4 to fit your Lokka Speak to Russell , And Ash from AC to fit your Air locker (I don't think Ash is interested in the Lokka Brand !!)

That's great info thank you for your time to right it up .. my 4x4 mech said it would be best for me to have a auto installed my 4x4 is a HZJ 75 tray back 1990
with it having a LSD a front auto locker would be a wise choice ... since I go to farms a lot when to do my thing summer and winter a little extra grip will be more then welcomed !!! Cheers ...
