HI just got back from camping and have like a red sap stains all over the roof of camper trailer. Just wondering if anyone can help me with a way of getting it of the canvas.

Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken,

I used to make annexes for caravans and in my experience, I have not found anything that will remove this. It even eats into PVC as well.

The info in the above thread is veyr good. Itmentions using window /glass silicone on canvas. This should be "neutral cure" silicone instead. (More expensive but you might be able to match the colour as well. Selleys have one). Window silicone is acid cure and help rot the canvas.

Good idea to stay away from bleach, exit mould and engine degreaser. Not that you were going there anyway.
