Has anyone used these for any period of time. I saw them at the
shop they look good but are only spot welded. This concerns me. Dont know how they will handle the rough roads ie spot welds coming apart. Really dont want to be stuck with Jerry cans and nowhere to store them.

Hi they look like the ones super cheap have.
Site Link
I haven't tried them but was not impressed with the construction either.
as you say spot welded. and not to
good spot welds either.
And very thin steel.
They would be ok for sealed roads.
But i didn't want to chance it across the Simpson.
I made my own 30mm\3mm flat bar is all you need and a mig welder.

The 3mm plate is easy if only I had a welder.

So I sent Ark Corp an Email to see what they thought on the idea. there response was quick and is as follows below.
We have had no problems nor
feedback of the welds coming apart on this unit and we have sold tens of thousands of units.
The Jerry Can Holder comes with a 12 month warranty and generally needs to be returned to place of purchase, unless you ask the place you purchase the product from whether they accept returns to their other stores.
