We have a Jayco Hawk we want to place roof racks on. It is to carry a fishing kayak so not much weight.
Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Don't know your location, but try a caravan parts/accessories place preferably one who deals in or specializes in Jayco. The roof bars used to be readily available and simply bolt to the sides of the roof supports. You could even try Jayco - they have a parts outlet in fact you can order their camper vans with roof racks fitted.

hi with our jayco finch i made a set of 3 racks up to carry 4 bikes standing up.It was a copy of the bars jayco sold as boat racks consisting of some 50mmm square tube welded to legs of same size which are welded to some50mm angle which sits over the outside edges of the roof and is bolt through the side .[the bikes travel with front wheels removed and mounted onto some skewered mount blocks and rear wheels sit in between channel supports]
The rack could be suitable for a kayak if needed.
hope it helps

Thanks guys.
I've priced it out at jayco and they are $380 for a pair. I have Rhino racks for my vehicle and i have the cradle attachements that fit this. So in a perfect world, I'd like a Rhino set up for the van - but if need be I will adapt it.
